The way you dress, your body language, your smile, are much more important than what you say. I remember a quote but not the source saying : "Your body spoke so loudly I could not hear what you were saying". You attract people who are receptive to your messages, often the like attracts the like. You are also networking when you are answering and talk on the phone, if you smile people will hear it through the tone of your voice". The words and language you choose in your blog will also communicate who you truly are.
